General
By requesting the services of AC Forensics, Inc. ("ACF"), you agree to the terms and conditions herein. You agree that we may remove the cover of your storage device or remove the storage device from its case in order to diagnose or repair the storage device, even though removing the cover may void the warranty of the device.

Confidentiality
Your data will be treated with the strictest confidence by ACF and will not be disclosed unless, (1) compelled to do so by a court of law, or (2) if contraband is discovered.

Return Method
If the data recovered from your hard drive is less than 15 GB, ACF will return the recovered data to you on DVDs. If the data recovered totals 15 GB or more, ACF will request that you provide a hard drive to copy the recovered data. If you cannot provide a hard drive on which to copy your recovered data, ACF would be glad to rent you an external hard drive on which to copy the data. The rental fee is $250 up front, with $200 refunded upon return within 5 business days. If the rental is not returned in good working condition within 5 business days, you will own the drive and cannot receive credit for returning the external drive.

Failure To Pick-up Storage Device and/or Recovered Data
When ACF recovers your data you have 30 days to pick up your data and make payment after we contact you. After that time, we will physically destroy your storage device(s) and dispose of the recovered data.

If ACF is not able to recover your data, you will have 30 days to pick up your storage device(s). After that time, ACF will physically destroy your storage device(s).

If you decide after a diagnosis that you do not wish to move forward with ACF’s services, you will have 30 days from the date of the diagnosis to pick up your storage device(s). After that time, ACF becomes the owner of the storage device(s) and may physically destroy them.

Failure To Maintain Contact With ACF
If ACF is unable to establish contact with you for 30 days using the contact information you provided ACF, ACF may physically destroy your storage device(s).

Payment
If you wish to move forward with the recovery process (and it is necessary), you agree to pay any charges associated with parts up-front. All other fees are strictly no data, no charge.

You accept that all fees associated with the data recovery service are final, and that refunds are not permitted.

Any arrangements contrary to those stated above must be in writing.
